Sharing images with remote teams — how do you collaborate across locations?

One of the most useful things we’ve experienced is being able to share images with team members at remote hospitals or labs — especially when we have questions or want a second opinion.

For example:

  • Sharing a Gram stain or culture image to double check findings
  • Asking a peer at another site for feedback
  • Getting advice during night shifts or when specialists are unavailable

:speech_balloon: Have you done this in your workflow?

  • What platform or method do you use for image sharing?
  • Any tips for organizing feedback or protecting data privacy?

We’d love to hear how others collaborate across distances — especially in low-resource or rural settings.

We usually use Google Drive or Dropbox for image sharing because they are easy to use and support large file sizes. Sometimes we also use WhatsApp or email for quick sharing, depending on the situation
